After we had picked for a while we had quite the load of strawberries. Micah wanted to eat all of them! The flavor was so much better than store bought strawberries. 
I believe that this is a family tradition that we will have to continue. We got the best deal for the best price...unless we grew our own of course. 
picking strawberries is the best, they taste great. Just so you know, they are really easy to grow. They can easily be grown in pots or in a small plot of land. I bet the boys would really enjoy growing their own strawberries.
ReplyDeleteWe do have three small pots with strawberries. They produced a few good ones last year, but this year we have lots of blooms but the berries are soooo small and don't taste that great. Maybe I need new plants. We don't really have land that we can grow things in, but someday that will be lots of fun!
